We have just completed the 56th session of the Working Group V UNCITRAL (Insolvency Law) which took place on December 2-5, 2019 in Vienna. A number of representatives of UN member states took part in it. One of them, the representatives of Poland, delegated by the Ministry of Development was once again the Partner of TPG Advocate Bartosz Groele, who is an expert on restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy law. The Polish delegation comprised also Judge Emil Szczepanik, Advocate Maciej Geromin , Legal Counsel to the General Prosecutor’s Office Maciej Szkrzypek. The main topic of the 56th session was to develop common features and principles of simplified insolvency proceedings for micro and small enterprises in difficulty. This event was extremely important in terms of changes planned in our country in the year 2020.
