On 27-28 March 2020 another conference of the European Commission INSOL Europe 2020 has been planned. It is organized by the Croatian Ministry of Justice and the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb. The conference focuses on the applicable law in cross-border insolvency proceedings. Advocate Bartosz Groele, who is a Partner of the TPG Law Office, has been invited to participate in this conference. As a speaker he will discuss the issues concerning the effects of foreign insolvency proceedings on arbitration proceedings in the state of recognition. The conference program has been prepared by the European Commission, INSOL Europe, the Croatian Ministry of Justice and the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb.
