The opening of remedial proceedings against a company carrying out cross-border supplies of energy products

Thanks to the team of the TPG Law Office: advocate Bartosz Magnowski, attorney-at-law Wojciech Młocek, and a bar trainee Karolina Piątek, under supervision of the Partner of the TPG Law Office advocate Bartosz Groele, the District Court in Warsaw issued a decision to open remedial proceedings against a company carrying out cross-border supplies of energy products, including liquid fuels, to the largest concerns in Europe and individual consumers. The company has been represented by our Law Office from the moment when we drafting the restructuring application, and we have continued into the newly opened remedial proceedings.

TPG Law Office in charge of the flotation of the AGH Brewery (Browar Górniczo – Hutniczy)

At the end of January 2020 the official inauguration of the activity of Browar Górniczo–Hutniczy in Kraków took place. The Brewery opened to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the AGH University of Science and Technology. Browar Górniczo – Hutniczy raised PLN 2,500,000 through the public issuance of shares. Almost a month ago, from 28 February to 1 March 2020, the XXXVII Ski Championship of the Bar took place in the Silesian Beskid Mountains. Nearly 200 advocates and bar trainees from all over Poland competed. We are pleased to announce that Partner of the TPG Law Office, advocate Mariusz Tomasik took the 1st place in alpine skiing in the giant slalom competition. Congratulations!

Today, that is on March 24 2020, an amendment to the law on consumer bankruptcy enters into force. The new version of the regulations offers debt relief for thousands of people a year – including those who are in financial trouble because of the recession related to the coronavirus pandemic.
